I listened to Acoustats many years ago, too much head in a vise effect, can't move on inch. And the frequency response was wrong when off axis, so things did not sound right for general listening when not in the seat (we agree on that). The problem was the flat panel beaming the high frequencies. A long narrow ribbon source tweeter produces a proper dispersion. And the curved electrostatic panels also have good dispersion characteristics.
So I see that you have a stone slab under the turntable. I have such things resting on sorbothane hemispheres. But I gave away my vinyl and turntable. The turntable with a 14 pound cast iron flywheel is now in an audio museum.
