When I was in the Army, we were out in the field training on night maneuvers and ambushes. At night we were always busy and during the day I to busy preping for the night. By Saturday morning I saw some of my guys pushing laundry carts through the woods. I couldn't figure out where they got the carts or why they were pushing them through the woods. Good old halucinations. Another guy tried pushing quarters into a tree thinking it was a Coke machine.
Lesson learned was that as a leader you can try to do everything and check on everything, but in the process you can make yourself useless. Trust others to accomplish their tasks.
