IMHO, SI-1 is fine for most of us. If you are a jewelry snob, or perhaps part eagle, you will get more satisfaction from owning a better clarity diamond. Before we got engaged, my wife had let me know that she would prefer more carat weight than less quality. Which was fine by me LOL! One other thing to watch, I firmly believe that the jewelry business has more crooks and unethical practices than the most stereotypical used car business could ever dream up. Unfortunately, they play on emotions, guilt and use high pressure sales tactics that must be illegal. And, their pricing is all over the place - again, just my opinion, but I think it's totally a question of how much they think they can get. If you buy online, stick to a reputable seller, and you will save a bunch, and be pretected if you pay by credit card. Good luck, and congratulations for making it 25 years!
