Hello fellow Materials Scientist-
I'm assuming you are locating those voids and imperfections with a scanning electron microscope. heheheheh. The flaws in diamonds do make the diamond shine different with their own unique characteristics, however I think the cut and color are two important considerations the other people were talking about too.
Harry Winston and Tiffan is nice. Who wouldn't like getting that blue box? Every girl dreams about it. DeBeers has always had cool commericials on tv too. 2 months of salary is a lot of bling!
Have fun!
