That's nice of you to paint a rosey picture of my patience, but truth be told - I had absolutely nothing to do and nowhere to go but the couch for a nap. Had this been yesterday, I'd have been so pissed and angry being stuck in traffic. I had a big job (a live taping) to get to, and missing it would have cost me a lot of money. I almost did arrive late cuz when I got to the bottom of the canyon drive to turn left toward Los Angeles, traffic along the coast at mid-day was inching along. I nearly made a U turn to go the long way, which, if traffic was even moving that way, I'd probably arrive at the absolute deadline. The calls back and forth with the angry producer would have been hell. But, it turned out the delay in traffic was only because of a lifegaurd incident along the beach a few tics down the road, and drivers were just slowing to gawk. Soon as we passed the gawking zone, traffic flowed like melted butter the rest of the way.
