Q1: Put the car in neutral at lights with your foot off the clutch. This keeps your throwout bearing and clutch cylinders happier.
Q2:
Put the car in neutral as you come to a stop. Sit there in neutral with foot off clutch.
Q3:
Downshift to put the car in the correct gear for the speed you are going. If you want to use it to slow down it's your choice.
The clutch in these is not really the issue. Any manual trans car is better if off if you don't sit at a light with your foot on the clutch. As for lots of downshifting, it may be easier on the trans if you limit how much you do, and some people blip the throttle between gears to match the engine revs to the next gear, which reduces stress on the tranny.
IMO, it's probably better to be in the right gear for the speed you are going, and whether you have to shift up or down a lot is personal preference, the engine/trans combo and your driving style.
A turbo motor has such huge flexibility I find much less need to shift than in non-turbo cars.
