When my wife had our baby I had a decision to make, usually my nights were get to the gym by 6 work out for an hour and be home at 7:30, but that was about the time my daughter would go down for the night.
I really didn't want to miss seeing her just to work out, so I bought a BowFlex Extreme and the Selectec dumb bells.
My days of heavy lifting are over and I didn't want to have someone spot me anymore so this is perfect for me. I can work out on my schedule and it give me the basic movements I want.
I wouldn't recommend buying a used one for two reasons one, some of the models have recalls on them so you want an newer model to make sure your's is safe two, there is some assembly and if the original owner didn't put it together you could seriously hurt yourself.
Don't get me wrong, it's not as good as a $3,000 model that the guy at the fitness store tried to upsell me to but for 3-4 times a week it's perfect.
