actually it's windows 98 (not SE) that doesn't support USB. WIN98SE does support USB. I too have a couple of Toshiba PII's that are used as internet browser/email stations. They work great for the grandparents with a larger external LCD monitor, external mouse and keyboard too. and it has a CD player built in too. You'd be surprised how far a 10 or 20 GB drive goes if you aren't running MS Office or storing a billion .mp3's
