the usual road are flooded and closed, otherwise it hasn't been that bad where I am thus far. Some neighbors reported heavy flooding in basement.
My sump pump has been on and off since late morning. My usual gage for heavy rain is from the chimney, water hasn't leaked down from the chimney yet so I think the rain hasn't been that bad. My house sits on a hill so not much water accumulates other than water that seeps through a basement window where a couple of ground hogs managed to destroy the water barrier and made their comfortable home.
I'm still holding out for the predicted high wind. Wind worries me more as we live in an old neighborhood where we have lots of big and tall trees, not looking forward to any of those coming down on anyone or anything.
