You may want to contact Sotheby's in New York at least for an old catalog on antique coin sales, that may give you a start (I believe you can buy old catalogs and auction results from them). Their research department may be able to give you specific guidance based on the photo, so reshoot the coins with a ruler in the photo to show scale, and shoot a second photo showing the flip side of the coins.
A friend of mine once paid $5 for a small oil painting of the Hudson River at a garage sale and sold it at Sotheby's for $60,000 as it was a real work by a particular artist known to collectors. You pay for cleaning, appraisal, shipping and insurance and then pay a 15% commission if sold. Oh, and taxes at 28% I think, its not a long term cap gain of 15% (soon to be 30% if the conventional wisdom on the election holds).
I can tell you that the squares ones won't be accepted by a Coinstar machine.
