Unless GM ends up defunct they will continue to support the car and warranty or the new owner of the brand will if sold. That said it could be a bigger hassle and the techs servicing them might not know the cars well. Indeed who knows, maybe GM will fail then we are screwed but if they are to survive they have to at least pay lip service to their warranties, and provide parts and service for a reasonable amount of time just as with Olds. Still it could indeed suck compared to today.

Anything could happen. Dumping or shuttering Saab isn't out of the question. Even if they didn't ideally want to they could be forced into it. That said Saab probably isn't at top of immediate list and they need something far more drastic at this point. The end of Hummer is already history all but officially. What a moronic abomination that was; no wonder they are in so deep. Buick seems like next bet; they can shift Buick buyers to Cadillac and their other remaining brands and that actually probably makes a lot of sense. GMC is basically pointless unless it just becomes a nameplate designation for Chevy trucks.
