Seems like somebody here knows something about everything. My wife and I got a cat a couple of weeks ago and her allergies are acting up a bit more than we expected. In particular she gets stuffy and sneezes when we're trying to sleep. We could try to keep the cat out of the bedroom, but that might be tough. So I thought an air filter for the room might help.

The room is about about 300 square feet. I don't know anything about air filters (HEPA and ions and all that), just looking for something that works, isn't too expensive, not gold plated, and isn't too difficult or expensive to maintain. Kinda like my 9-5 :) Any advice you guys have would be appreciated.
