A Sonett could be built along the lines of a 9-3. However, it would be too close to a 9-3 3 door! I'm ok with that.
If a real Sonett were designed, it would be smaller and there's no small car to base it on. Sonett sales are too small to justify a separate platform unless the 9-3 one were really flexible.
So the priorities should be the 9-5 (it's almost retro in the eyes of non-Saab fans), then the 9-3, then a new 9-2, and finally a Sonett based on a 9-2.
