I tried bleeding the brakes on my 2000 9-3, which is driven in the winter. I could NOT get the bleeder valve loose, even after putting some liquid wrench (maybe I should have put more...) on it. I decided I'll just pay to have it done by my indie mechanic (really stinks, cause this is so easy to do...)
I siphoned out all of the old fluid from the reservoir, cleaned it, and filled it with super blue brake fluid. Now, the reservoir has blue brake fluid, though I still haven't bled the brakes. I assume all should be okay given they are both dot 4, and not much will mix....but am I okay for another two to three months?
