I think there is something very special about the fact Posted by bender [Email] ![]() ![]() ![]() In Reply to: New Future 9-3 Viggen?, PSB, Sun, 5 Sep 2010 06:52:41 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
that the Viggen was only around for a number of years. BMW makes their "M" line of cars, and it's ongoing and...well, it's not much to it. You can buy one whenever you'd like. This is a limited edition model (the Viggen). I think they should keep the Viggen, as the Viggen. When one refers to the "Viggen," it is known which model they are referring to, namely the OG 9-3 special model.
If they want to come up with a new special edition model, they could name it the "Grippen" or something else. I do not want to see Saab moving into the same direction as other companies and producing "limited edition" models on a regular basis, for that defeats the purpose. Having an aero is fine, but it would simply be the top of the line model.
Just my thoughts.
