Some of this is tongue in cheek. Haven’t lived there for 3 years so it was a surprise the first time through. It does not seem properly implemented, the highway has greater than an order of magnitude more traffic than the cross road, and the circle is too small, a semi going around didn't really fit between the outer edge and the red zone. Having the thing in open country on a 55 MPH highway just does not seem right. Apparently the objective was to slow traffic and reduce accidents, not assist traffic flow. They say the traffic in the intersection has decreased since the circle appeared, with more traffic and accidents on adjacent roads. I could see where people were driving on the shoulder to get around it. WI is notorious for going around on the right side. A fellow worker’s commute is 4 minutes longer, since he didn’t know how long the wait at the circle would be, he just takes an alternate route. One timid person and LOL. People in the circle would stop to let others in, Didn’t that used to be the rule, the car on the right has the right of way? Oh well, just don't see how putting crap in the middle of the road helps traffic.
