Breaker bars - what do you like?

I need to get a new 1/2" breaker bar (or maybe 3/4" with a 3/4 -> 1/2), Breaking some axle nuts and subframe bolts is in my near future! I ruined the last one with a 3' extension on some uber-torqued and uber rusted axle nuts so I need a replacement.
My preference was always for the slide bar type because they are flexible in tight situations, work as a nice T to spin things down fast when you need it, and appear to be stronger with a solid bar and a heavy head (although I bent the handle on the last as noted above), Ex: http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00944151000P?prdNo=3&blockNo=3&blockType=G3
I've never been found of the U head type, because they only do one job, and it looks to me like the head joint is a real weak spot when you stick a pipe on it and go uber, Ex: http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_SPM3433188001P?prdNo=16&blockNo=16&blockType=G16
Opinions? Experiences? Preferences? I don't want to spend a fortune, but I do need to bust some nuts loose now and then.
