Actually, I do rotate. I don't think it saves you anything in wear or adds any actual miles to the set under nmormal conditions. If you have a problem that you correct (alignment, for example) then rotation and a careful inflation adjustment could allow you to wear the worn ones longer.
But, I do think that it helps to wear them all out at the same time. That lets me buy a whole new matching set at the same time. Since tire models come and go frequently these days, I prefer to buy 4 at a time.
Every year and a half or so I typically have them rebalanced on a GSP9700... costs me $50 and they rotate them for me at the same time. That eliminates the littel vibrations that creep up due to wear changing the road execution conditions.
