Turbostud, most of the stuff you list are normal wear items on any car with a lot of miles. You may have bought a Saab that hadn't been well cared for, which makes things more likely to fail, but if you look carefully you can find a good one that won't need much other than normal service and repair. Three of ours were bought at 90K, two at 148K. All have been pretty reasonable, although one needed a new clutch and some other stuff when it hit 180K.
Repairs come with the mileage, but it's usually cheaper to fix a car than buy a new one. If you bought a Toyondaruzdasan at 99K miles it would have needed stuff, too. Cars wear out.
It's important to differentiate between routine work, once-in-the-life-of-the-car repairs, and stuff that breaks due to indifferent maintenance.
Also, Saabs are relatively complex, compared to say, a Corolla. Complexity costs money, but a Saab is a lot more car. It depends on what works for you.
