Every time I got a new one I did a full backup to iTunes using the USB cord (I don't 100% trust the wireless cloud sh*t). Then when I got the new one it offers to restore from a previous iPhone. Plug in the new one, and all your apps, texts, contacts, e-mails, etc are on the new one. Apple stuff is easy-peasy.
