Interestingly, the Electronic Parts Catalog seems to work fairly well under Linux via Wine. You do have to manually copy vbajet32.dll to the EPC directory (~/.wine/drive_c/EPC) after installation, or maybe just install Visual Basic runtime.

A sporadic error came up a couple of times starting the program. Running it again would bring it up normally when that happened. It started without errors about 90% of the time.

Exiting EPC an error pops up 100% of the time, but at that point you're done using it anyway. Might be possible to eliminate the errors with some tweaking. Other than I found it possible to select the Saab model and bring up diagrams and part numbers, and print them.

Tested on a laptop running Ubuntu Linux 22.04.5 and Wine 6.0.3.

Addendum:

I also installed EPC via Wine on my desktop Linux Mint 21.3 system. (Same Wine version.) That took a little more finagling. It turns out the necessary DLLs are put by the EPC installer in C:\EPC\System (MFC42.DLL) and C:\EPC\Dao35 (VBAJET32.DLL). To get EPC working those needed to be added to Wine's search path. (Or, possibly the DLLs could have been copied to a directory already in the path.) No problems starting EPC once that was done. Same error occurs when exiting.
