Don't know about towing specs, but I would get a BMW X5 (or wait for the SAAB one to come out to see what it looks like). I persoannly don't need off road (low range, etc) performance, and I love the way the X5 looks (very sporty). From the goofy enhanced images that I've seen of the SAAB Country King, it looks similar.
If I was opting for an even more carlike SUV/Wagon, I'd might go with the Audi Allroad, or possibly the Volvo Cross Country (I think it's called). The biggest thing from keeping from the Audi is the price - way too high. As high as the X5, and I definately couldn't justify it over an X5! The only Allroads I saw on the local lots STARTED at $47K! I went to carpoint.com to configure and couldn't hardly price one that low, most were in the $50k range! Ridiculous
