Man, that's scary. I had a similar thing happen to me a year ago and I ended up with a set of Medeco locks that are next to impossible to pick and invincible to blunt attacks. Consider a deadbolt that is keyed (no knob) on both sides as well, this makes it a real chore for a thief to get in or out while you are gone. Good luck with the insurance.
