and I do agree to a point. I think two models, when you sell as few cars here as Saab does, is a bit much. But you have to remember that Saab is being influenced greatly (I believe) by GM. This move sounds pecularly GM'ish. Also agree about calling the Aero AWD wagon an SUV a la Subaru Forrester/Outback.
Final point. I think Saab could do more to gain acceptance here if they could bring the price of the car down somewhat. When I look at the prices of a 9-5 Wagon and a VW Passat GLX there is a big difference, but the features and quality are pretty much equal. And when my wife looks at the dealer network and the fact that she has to drive 70 miles in traffic to get to the dealer, she starts likin' the VW a lot more. Personally, I like the Aero Wagon myself, but if I bought it without her, I'd be living in it.
Let's hope Saab make a come back here. Just not to big a comeback, I like the novelty of the car.
