Yeah, its the previous generation's styling. I'm sure poster knew that. about a year old now. The bug eyed-wrx that replaced it, however, is rumored to get a facelift. I think they call it a "freshening" in the industry. no definite word yet, but rumors from europe say scoobie has inked a deal with prodrive of the uk for the front end. dig around the http://www.i-club.com for more. Scoobie had apparently decided that sinc the oval/round headleamps were popular or mercs and other higher-end cars, it would do well to follow. too bad, they got stung badly and seem to be reacting. still, the car goes like stink.

and if you like the pic in this thread, wait till you see the lancer evo-7 coming. kinda like that photo with a bit of ford's "new edge" styling.

Now, for a real look at the [then] future of performance, check out:

which, is the skyine gt-r. there's not much better than that, including the bald headed, middle age cruiser, err.... I mean porsche. you'd have to go to ferrari or lambo to best it. Its reckoned, the infinity g35 or i35 or whatever the model just released is (nt to be confused with the model released last year or two years ago - the i30 or i35 or etc.) is the new "skyline", although its the bare bones, not much performance version. too bad infinity won't put the turbos and awd on it and release it in the usa. yet?

oh well, america missed about 10 years worth of real japanese performance cars.
