We have just reserved a 1921 RR Silver Ghost for our July wedding. The thing is humongous, bigger than a Chevy Suburban; no messing up hair-do or cressing dress for her. It doesn't even cost more than a Limo or horse carriage. We had our eyes set on a horse carriage, but eventually decided sparing the horses from the summer heat, or worse yet, rain. We are in central MA, and dealing with the owner-hobbist family, who are really into the cars and don't charge much. For $300, we have a choice of two Silver Ghosts, one open show car, the other closed saloon in case of rain. We could also have picked the 1930's Phaetom II convertible (the Gatsby car), but the roofline on that car is a bit low. You may have to pay more in the city; Boston area would have run $500-600.
