Jeff-
I can easily see how mogul skiing is not all that exciting to you. In truth, it is a quite an amazing sport. The course the Olympians are going down drops i believe 2400 M in elevation from start to finish. The women were travelling this distance in around 37 seconds tonight. Although I am not positive on the actual size I would estimate those moguls to be between 3 and 4 feet high, the skiers hit about 70 of these on the way down the mountain. I'm sure you can figure out that that is about 1 every half second. So although it might not seem that amazing when seen live, take a look in slow motion. The ski control these skiers have is amazing and it is hard to appreciate the largeness of a mogul course until you have seen one in person. But like any sport, we will all have our own opinions, and I agree with you that there is much more excitement in an event like the downhill when speeds of 90+ mph are reached.
