Q. I guess my main question was on the threaded pipe, wouldn't spinning it tighten one end, loosen the other? or am I just missing the trolley on this one?
A. You are right. Turning the pipe will tighten one end and loosen the other. You cannot take it apart this way however. If the piping was properly assembled, you will have very little play left on the treads. You will bottom out the treads on one end before the other end comes loose.
