Yeah, the L850 is the 4cyl version of a new family of engines from GM, which includes a 5cyl and 6cyl (the 4200cc in line 6cyl is already in use in the TrailBlazer/Envoy line up) and they are all great engines. There have been rumors of a turbo for the 5cyl and 6cyl for use in GM vehicles and I hope SAAB had a hand in the developement of those as well. A 5cyl HPT would be cool for the new 9-3Viggen/9-5 Aero. The head tinker-toy guy from GM slapped a turbo on a basically internally unmodified 4200 6cyl and it produced over 400hp and he said there was room for more.
