Although you say you have them al grounded at the same point, this may be the problem. Usually stereo's with multipal amps, and what nots are NOT all grounded at the same point. Perhaps still your ground wires aren't thick, large enough to handle the curent that's being drawn through them. Try to use a different ground for each amp if you have two of them. Also the head units ground point would normally be behind the unit itself, not at the rear of the car as you described. Seperate the ground points as such:
1. for the first amp
2. another for the second amp
3 and yet another for the head unit itself.
These should help clear things up. Also make sure you don't have speaker wires/RCS cords and power wires running along side each other, this also will introduce unwanted noise into the system. If the speaker wires are run down one side of the vehicle, rune the power wires down the opposite side...Got it? Lastly, if you aren't using all the speaker leads off the back of the head unt, make sure the unused ones are cut off clean then either tapped up or such to keep them from contacting each other.
Hope this helps,
Phil
