unobstrusive on '02 9-5 Aero

Sorry to hear that the early versions of TCS is not very good.
The TCS/ESP on my '02 9-5 Aero lets me chirp the tires a bit and so far it is very unobstrusive. Even in the rain, the only way to get TCS/ESP to intervene is to floor it in second gear at about 4,000 rpm (folks, don't try this at home!) Surprising amount of wet grip with the OEM tires.
Contrast this to the traction control on the '97 MB C280 I tried, wow, that thing kicks in *way* too early, and yet that car still fishtails in the snow. Horrible.
Just like my Aero, the DSC on recent BMWs is very good--effective and yet unobstrusive. I'd imagine the TCS/ESP on the latest 9-3 is just as good; probably better!
