It's good, and I like the way it developes the smiley guy, because with out that context, I think it's pointless. But I do have a complaint. They show the saab on a test track, but they don't really show much manuvering or actually hard driving. Think about the WRX commercials, they don't just show the car on a twisty road, they show you the car eating the road up. That commercial makes me want to go out and drive. Sasb should have included some driver perspective shots or just paid closer attention to the cinematography, to really convey a sense of the car's performance: think about BMW films or the Acura CL type-S commercial where the guys buy his wife's dream house because there are about 5 miles of hairpin turns and switch backs to get there. If "people who test drive a saab usaully buy one" then saab needs to make it's commercials feel a little more like a test drive.
