As the owner of a dog who has been there every single morning, when I come home every single night, when I feel bad and good, who nursed my wife through a grave illness for five years, who has shared our bed every single night, for the last 10 years, and how is just now turning gray and slowing down a step, I did not need the reminder. I get it every day.

Back to the topic at hand:

The head of the Laborers International Union for many years was a man by the name of Angelo Fosco, who also has several offspring still active in the Chicago locals. The name of the man who shut down the jobsite last night on Sopranos was Fusco from the Laborers. Hmmmm. Same union, similar name. How's that for reality?

In addition, that large, inflatable rat that they wheeled out has been floating around Chicago at various strike sites for years. I was laughing so hard, I've seen it in person a few times, the whole idea is hilarious. I assume they have others in other parts of the country. How's that for reality?

I said two weeks ago that Johnnie Sak was going to get rid of Carmine, don't know if I posted it, but my wife will confirm my prediction. Is the series ending or not? Now HBO is plugging the season, not series, finale.

That Paulie is sure a pathetic character. Talk about not glorifying the mob. He's a sad, lonely old man who just now realizes he has no friends, and who likely is in the process of ruining what little glory he has left. Sad. I know guys like him, too.
