50% depreciation per three years from MSRP of the most comparable new Saab, that for average miles (35-40K per three years) and average condition (should be pretty good for a 3yo still under warranty) is the "hoped for buy point". Looks like you're about there, on price, plus you get arund $700 "credit" for low miles.
SFSC first choice is to attempt to place lease cars with their current lessee - placing it with the leasing dealer, especially on a "trade in" is a very close second, placing it with another Saab dealer via closed "auction" is third choice, and dragging the carcass to an open wholesale auction is last choice. As a "company owned financing store" they are charged with, above all, maintaining a good customer oriented transaction.
We reported on SFSC in NINES a couple or three years ago when they assumed the majority of Saab leasing activities from Chase.
