I bought one last year. Never used it then, but have had it out 3 times this year. Seems to work very well.
I wanted a 4-stroke for reduced pollution, air and noise.
As far as MTD's, I don't know about their snowblowers, but I was in the market for a lawn tractor this spring, and I think that MTD makes tractors that are rebadged by a dozen retailers. Maybe they made my Craftsman snow blower?
