Skip, I was in your position a couple years ago and here's what I did: I have an 84 900 Turbo which had just 4" stock speakers in the back. I wanted an improvement, but I'm no audio expert either, so I got the Kenwood 4" x 10" speakers (maybe a little different model than the one you mentioned since it was a couple years ago). I did have to cut the holes bigger to fit the 4" x 10"s but it wasn't a huge deal. I'm happy with the sound now (definitely better than what it was). However, I just recently installed some 6" x 9"s in my Sonett and they sound noticable better than the 4" x 10"s. Once again, I'm no expert, but just thought I'd throw my 2 cents in...
