bRAD, I agree with most of what you say. You mentioned Buick wanted to be seen as big and comfy with sporty intentions. I agree that is what they want but I really question the sporty part. At the Atlanta Auto Show last month their display drew very little attention. I could see myself in a Lexus, but not a Buick. I think they are in trouble. You mentioned Saab doesn't fit into the GM line up. I agree they are different than the other makes but that might be why they do fit. Who needs the same car with a Chevy, Pontiac and Buick nameplate. I think Saab's strength is eating into the stronghold of BMW and MB. We know how good they are. The rest of the world just needs to wise up 8-). I also believe my 9-5 is a much better car than any US made luxury car in any way near the same price range. The new 9-3 is now fully capable of taking on the BMW 3 series, at a better price, which is saying a lot. I think the new 9-3 convertible will be a big hit.
