an '06...leased for less than an '06 9-5, despite an $8k price difference. I had to "settle" for the lowly 280 HP 3.5 six, but the same car in all other respects.
4 months and 9k down the road the M is VERY hard to fault. Anyone who doubts this car has "soul" has never driven one...perhaps hasn't even sat in one. It is engineered "inside out" as Saabs once were. This is a drivers car..with a comfortable seat not on the floor ala Japan(Honda) and current Saabs. the interior space is larger than a 9000, which was larger than a 9-5... without adding length to the car, or sway to the handling. It is a blast to drive fast or slow...on the twisties or the interstste.
It was the first reason I could find to leave Saab since the 80's! After 4 months, I'm still missing my old 9000...but it is fading.
