That's what we decided when we looked at Suby wagons last Jan/Feb. The seats seemed fine for the first 20 mins, then got uncomfortable. The rear seat area is a joke if the people in front put their seats back (I'm 6'2" and my wife is 5'8", so we do slide the seats back a bit). The Suby is (or at least feels) narrow and the cargo area is far too small--too short and too narrow. And I wasn't convinced a standard 30 gallon trash barrel would fit standing up. And the salesperson said it might not. That hampers trips to the dump. (they fit in my 9Ks and a 9-5)
We looked at a 9-5 and my wife was sold immediately. Subys are nice, but IMHO if you are over 5'7", have tall kids and like to carry a lot of stuff on trips the Suby is not the right car.
Plus the mileage is not as good as the 9-5 and I seem to recall the turbo motor required premium gas. I like being able to run mid-grade in a Saab for local use, then premium on a trip. I talked to a guy I know who has a turbo Suby and he the car doesn't like anything less than 91 octane. Drives him nuts.
