Hey I just picked up a 1993 Mercedes 190e 2.3 Black with silver lower body cladding. This car is very solid and has all service records to date. I have gotten about 24mpg in city and highway driving with ac on. The down side is this car along with my new e-class take premium fuel only and i tried regular and found them to gurgle and knock with a big loss in power. Problems known to the 190e are head gaskets and poor a/c systems. All else bullit proof. The E class is known for electrical snares. I figure I will probably have these problems when mine gets a little older with all this fancy gizmo stuff it has. Hey My 1988 Saab Spg has 103k on the clock and it costs about 1,200.00 every 2 1/2 years to keep on the road but i love it. I tell you I have never owned a Merecedes before but they are nice.
