... anyway, here's where they stack up:
MPG HP Torque Curb Weight
2003 Saab 9-5 Aero 22/31 250 258 3530
2003 Audi A6 2.7t 18/25 250 258 3924
The Saab has a better safety rating, both are available with manual transmissions, the Audi has AWD, and both have outstanding reliability ratings. You trade DI cassette problems in the Saab for very minor oil leaks in the Audi.
This situation is just like wine. Which do you like better? I've owned both and, personally, I like the Audi more. The fit and finish and the quality of the materials is better in the Audi. The technology is more advanced in the Audi. The v6 sounds better in the Audi, and I like that you can do some minor tweaking (chip) the Audi and get a lot more power. APR (no affiliation) has a chip for the A6 that gives you an immediate 307hp/366lb-ft. The transmission is very durable and can take the additional power. Anyway, there are advantages to both. Which do you like better?
