History:

Had 2001 9-5 … kept until 2005 when I lost my sanity; 27 times to the dealership for work (all warranty). It had EVERY known issue to the model line, then some.

Leased a 2005 Outback Turbo. Last 12 months then I broke my lease, car too small, never loved the clutch. Saw myself coming and going on every street corner. Who doesn’t own an Outback?

Purchased a 2005 Lexus RX330, certified with 25k miles in October. Just turned 36k today. I don’t know if I enjoy this vehicle or not. It has all the luxury I missed in the Outback that the SAAB gave me, it has been back to the dealer twice for two oil changes. No issues what so ever. It gets 23-25 MPG on the freeway, which is great I think for an SUV with AWD. It just lacks … “something.” It may be in the engine department. After 2 turbo charged cars, this Lexus is always downshifting (5 speed auto) trying to muster up enough guts to move it. At 230 horsepower, I think 50 of them have asthma and tire out. I owe less than $3,000 on it but am wondering if I “reinvest” in something different. Something more fun. Maybe an IS250 AWD … or should I wait for the redesigned RX350 coming out in one year? It’s suppose to be more fun. No SAAB for me as of right now … the 9-5 wagon is essentially the same vehicle as 2001, I know it’s been “updated” but I prefer the 2001 or even 2002 update, not the 2006. Acura bores me. BMW intrigues me, but don’t love the X3 and don’t want to afford the $60k+ X5. No Audis. Not loving Infiniti.

Maybe I’m just bored, I tired of cars quickly.
