At 3800lbs, you knew the Challenger was not going to be tiny. The Camaro is smaller, but also a whopping 3700lbs. Both are heavier than the Mustang, but both make more power in both V6 and V8 guises, although that may change once Ford rolls out the turbo'd V6. I for one would love to see a spiritual successor to the mid '80s SVO Mustang. :)
Heavy or not, the Challenger is absolutely great looking and it sounds sick. I've seen several roadgoing ones now. Not sure a V8 muscle car is what I need right now, but I'd absolutely not be ashamed to drive one. The 300 was quite nice for what it was, and while the Charger didn't pan out in my eyes as well as the Magnum, I think that entire platform was well executed.
