Hello all from the 9-5 board. I have a friend's 87 Mazda B2000 and I'm trying to fix an exhaust leak. There's a downpipe from the exhaust manifold that has three studs on it, the exhaust bolts to those three studs. The studs are rusty and some threads are messed up so I can't get the nuts tight enough to seal. Getting it out completely is a bear I'm trying to avoid. There isn't enough room to use a standard (8mm) die to chase the threads. Are there any other ways to chase/clean threads than a standard die? Thanks for any input....
