It's not apples to apples but, I installed a water injector on my friends WRX. We ran a water line from the truck under the car up the eng bay and over to the IC. Which you know is on top? We did some runs after we were done and found that we had a 10 degree temp drop. We tested it with a Raytek laser temp gauge. I don't have the details now but in the end it was done very cheaply. He is still struggling to find a decent tank for his needs. I do know the details on the "sprayer." You'd never guess where we came up with it. Very easy and like I said, cheap! Course we didn't use a pressure switch, we put it on a toggle. Mostly because he drives like an old lady 90% of the time.
