usually a bad ECU will take out a BPC immediatly or within just an hour or so
you may have just gotten gunk jammed in there
Id say especially with a new BPC hanging up try to clean it first & see if it operates corectly if not try to determine weather or not the coil/s got cooked before condemming the ECU
the 7.5 amp APC fuse will generaly save an ECU but sticking in a larger fuze will kill the ECU for sure if the coil in the BPC shorts :-(
