I think with a bigger turbo yes Posted by jak [Email] (#195) [Profile/Gallery] (more from jak) on Thu, 19 Jan 2006 16:32:27 In Reply to: Re: One header down, 4 to go for me... heh!, nathanb, Thu, 19 Jan 2006 16:15:26 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
it should broaden the torque curve because an engine with a bigger turbo is running NA usually for a bit longer in the RPMs (while it spools up) the extraction pre boost helps spool up Im sure
with something closer to a stock turbo one would probably notice it more in the high end where the stock manifold becomes in efficient
(I am just theorizing above so reading up would be a good idea)
the biggest reason I built this one for carls car was to realocate the turbo but Im sure it will help spool up with this turbo as well as flow well higher in the RPMs
Im gona build one for my car before SOC Ill dyno it before & after keeping the same turbo & SW so there will be a comparison of what the gains are with my class of turbo = roughly GT28R & GT28RS
take care
