How in the world do you have the uncanny ability to when I already have made plans. I only work three day a week and I had off on Friday until about a two hour ago. I then decided to go into work for some overtime.

Yes I would go to this drag strip and was planning on going sometime this spring while the temps were still down. I just need to get some 1/4 mile times on the old car. I even have been planning on making the trip with some of the my cop budies so on the way down we could make some legal test runs.

In regards to the transmittion I not sure what will happen to the SPG. I know its hard on the clutch and transmittion but I just do not know to what degree. I was planning on draining the trans before and after to see what the drainage would look like. My car also has over 70k on it and I know that soon I may need a clutch rebuild and plan on doing it during the summer or fall. Taking the car to the track may not be the smartest thing in the world but it sure will be fun. I also want to compare my dyno runs and 1/4 times with the G-tech to see how acurate that is as well. Mybe next time I will be able to join you.

Jumping off the line in my car is easy and does not require much skill. Just step on it. The first gear is almost nonexistant and the second comes the next thing you know its time for third. The rush is almost intoxicating but very hard on the transmittion. I wish I could find out a way to overcome the transmittions shortcomings with out spending thousands.
