You have a T5 control system (red DIC) that works off of the MAP sensor. You can use any boost controller, with the limit being the fuel cut pressure.
The MBC+A is a good option that is affordable compared to electronic controllers. No you cannot adjust from the cabin, but installation does not require running wires through the firewall. The MBC or MBC+A options do overpower 1st gear and one has to deal with the throttle to avoid that.
It is good practice to reduce intake and exhaust back pressure when increasing boost by any means. Premium fuel should be considered non-optional. Keep injectors and combustion chambers clean (techron concentrate). Plugs need to be kept in good condition.
