Anyhow, my problem with the boost was a combination of the low octane fuel we have here in WA (92 max), and the fact that my timing was advanced a little. I've since retarded the timing, and now I can hold 16 psi until at least 4000 rpm, and have peaked at 16.5 a time or two. I've ordered the SPG9 A.I.D. to help hold the boost, as I really only need more retard at the higher boost levels (over 10 psi).

I've always been able to hit 15 psi, since I got my 2.8 bar FPR and modified APC. The problem has been staying at that boost level..

16 psi on my gauge is only about 1/3 red, so if you are shooting for 1/2-3/4 red (~20 psi), you indeed may need to do something more than you currently have planned. You may want to consider the 3.0 bar FPR or RRFPR, and possibly new injectors. You may also need to tweak a Stage 1 APC, somebody said they max out at around 17 psi, which would jive with my findings. I know many places in the US have up to 94 octane, which will help compared to our 92.

I've decided to go another route on my car - water injection. I'll let everyone know the results after I get it installed..
